Mommy's gone camera happy

Well these are a few videos that I have created of Patrick on my new Mac (thanks honey) and I thought I would share them with everyone. Listen really closely to the bathtub one, I laugh every time. And I love the one where Patrick is just dancin to his own beat. Its great. Enjoy!

Ladies and Gentlemen...

I would like to introduce you to Mrs. Sarah Jane Nolte!!! Isnt she gorgeous??? We were able to go to a wonderful wedding reception last night at the famous Nevilles house. We got to take a little family picture for ourselves. Thanks to the lovely Lori. We are enjoying our summer so far and now Jesus is out of school and he can take a break and just concentrate on his job. Patrick is loving having his dad home at night and will be sad when school starts again. I have some great pictures of Patrick trying to drive the car while Dad washed the outside of the car. And I have a very adorable picture of Patrick watching his favorite show, Mickey Mouse clubhouse!!! When it comes on he screams and crawls to the tv as fast as he can and stands there the whole time. He even dances when they dance. How did we get so lucky!!

Over the hills and through the woods to Grandmothers house we went

Hello!!! We are back from Utah and what a trip. We left last Saturday, Patrick, Jesus, Mom and I,and made it all the way to St. George then we stayed the night at my uncle Dougs house. The drive wasnt that bad and we even stopped in Primm to do a little shopping at the outlets. Patrick was pretty good for the first day. The second day wasnt as great and it was wonderful to finally get to Provo. We dropped Mom off at my Grandparents house so she could help them out for the week and then we made our way back to Springville so Patrick could meet his Grandparents for the first time. It was wonderful and everyone loved him. Monday, Sara took Mom, Patrick and I shopping for some new modest clothing and then we had lunch at Zupas. That night Mom had planned a big talent show at Grandma and Grandpas house for Grandmas 80th birthday and Jesus and I made it just in time to see everyone before they left. We had a little mishap back at the Morenos, Sebastian, Jesus's younger brother passed out while splashing some water on his face in the bathroom and had to be taken to the emergency room to get the cut on the back of his head cleaned and closed. He's fine now. Just a little ulcer. Tuesday we got to go to the Airport in Salt Lake and pick up Francisco at the airport who had just come home as a return missionary. It was great to see him again and talk to him. He was very much like a returned missionary. Wednesday Mom, Jesus, Patrick and I traveled through provo canyon to Midway to Pick up Patty and Heather, my aunt and cousin to do a little shopping in Park City. It was a good time. We went back to Patty's condo and all the Standifirds showed up (my moms sisters family) and my sister and we went to dinner and then back to the condo to play a little KILLER BUNNIES. Fun Fun Fun!!! I recomend it. Thursday we didnt do much just kind of helped Cisco catch up on good movies he missed, and took care of Jesus and Patrick while they had the flu and Patrick had 3 teeth coming in. Yuck. Friday Sara took us to Kneaders for the best French Toast you have ever tasted. Then we went over to the BYU Campus and walked around and went to the bookstore for a little more shopping.

We were shopping maniacs. If you cant tell. Patrick loved seeing everything and everyone in Utah thought he was the cutest baby. I agree. Patrick loved playing with his uncles and aunts. He loved dressing up like a lifegaurd like his uncle Nick. He loved sitting with uncle Gabe while he played the Wii. He rocked out with his Dad on Guitar Hero II and loved playing on uncle Gabes drum set. That night the Morenos tried out a game of Killer Bunnies and I went over to Sara's apartment and hung out with her and her roomates. Good times.

Saturday morning we packed up and said goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa and left for St. George. On our way home we stopped at Beaver and had some squeaky cheese and a picnic. It was a trip we will never forget. We are going back next month...just kidding, but we are going back to St. George for a family reunion (Yikes) and we wont even have Grandma Connie to babysit in the back seat. Oh well. There was a good time had by all.

Patricks summer

As Patrick was born in September, he never really got to enjoy the fun activities that summer has to offer. Now that he is older he can really enjoy swimming and barbeques that we as a family enjoy (usually at Grandma and Grandpas house). We have really enjoyed this warmer weather as we trek out with our mommy group to CALM or walking in the morning. We are making our way to Utah this week to stay with Jesus's parents and it will also be their first meeting to their newest grandchild. We are extremely excited. Mom is coming with us as well so it should make the long drive with an infant more bearable. We are planning on spending time with my family as well so this should be fun week. We are going to take alot of pictures so I should have more to post when we get home or since I will be sleeping in the capital home of computers I could just do it there. Patrick has also started crawling. He is a little wobbly still but he makes a great effort. He has also started pulling himself up to stand while he's holding onto something, usually the side of the bathtub which scares me to death but he has to learn...:( he is getting so big and I miss when I could just hold him and he wouldnt wiggle and try to get out of my arms to play. So when I get him to fall asleep in my arms I really take advantage. Jesus has one more week of school and then he is done for the summer and he can just work at the Kern County Supernintedent of schools office, a job which is stressful but he loves it. He's such a hard worker and we appreciate him every day. Im glad I can stay at home and enjoy all of Patricks little firsts. I try to get them on camera so Jesus can watch when he gets home but Patrick is pretty quick. His newest favorite thing to do is read books. He just cant seem to put them down. Its so cute how he will pull all of his books out and look at them all. Well thats all I can think of until we get back. Enjoy the pics.

The forgotten pictures

These are the pictures of Patricks adventures.

Patricks new adventures

Welcome all to my new blog. I got the idea for this from the clever Mrs. Tenille Gates. Thanks! I just wanted everyone to know the adventures that we having. I posted some of this in my blog on my myspace page but I felt I should cover more. Patrick is getting so big but he is still pretty small. The last doctors visit he weighed in to close to 16 lbs but now Im sure he's at least 16 lbs. He turned 8 months old this last Saturday and he has his first tooth which has made breast feeding a little bit more difficult but after I get past the pain of his little snaggle tooth its still an amazing experience. Patrick finally met the famous Mickey Mouse, Pluto, and Goofy. Despite the rain and my fear of driving in it, we made it there safely and had a wonderful time the Cory and Stephanie and Mom and Ben and Janea met us there. We got to ride one ride with the kids, the astounding Its a Small World After All. Cory and Stephanie got to ride the new and improved Space Mountain while we watched Caleb and then as soon as they got off, we got on and we didnt even have to wait in line. And thanks to mom, she and Cory watched the babies at the hotel while Stephanie, Jesus and I went back into the park and rode all the rides we possibly could and as we ran from ride to ride we saw the beautiful fireworks show. It was an amazing time and maybe we will do it again when Patrick is old enough to remember something. Patrick is also scooting everywhere doing his little army crawl with one leg and one arm. But he is getting so close to crawling. He can pull himself up on his hands and knees and he rocks back and forth like he is building up momentum before he shoots off to explore the world, but then he loses his nerve and falls back on his tummy and scoots off to suck on some shoes. He is amazing to watch though as he entertains himself and finds something like a tuperware lid facinating. We are planning on a special trip up to Utah in June to visit Jesus's Mom and Dad who have not had the chance to meet Patrick yet so this is going to be really exciting. I am anticipating hanging out with Sister Sara and having a little shopping extravaganza and then introducing Patrick to the fam in Utah like his Great Grandma and Grandpa. We love all our family friends and we are excited to keep you all updated.
