Just a few things

These are just some pictures I have collected over the last two weeks that I wanted to get on here.
This is the burp cloth and blanket I made for someone to give to someone. I loved the fabric and wanted to do something with it so this is what I came up with.

My wonderful Mother in Law, Shelley, gave Jesus's sister and I food processors for Christmas. I was so excited because I am a big fan of making my own baby food and our blender doesnt really do that great of a job. I have used it for so many things other than baby food but I finally got my ingredients and made Elena some peas, sweet potatoes, and here is peaches. She doesnt like peas, she loves sweet potatoes, she doesnt like applesauce which I just buy in the big container, she loves bananas which I buy as pre-made baby food because mine goes brown and so I thought we would try some peaches. Patrick didnt like peaches so I was anxious to see what she would think.

And the verdict was.......She loved them!!Shelley also bought these pajamas for Patrick before he was born to wear for Christmas. Well I looked for them this past year for Elena to wear and couldnt find them. Well looking through a pile of the kids clothes I found them so we had a Christmas night in February.
Patrick gets very jealous when the camera is out and we arent taking pictures of him. Isnt he adorable?
WARNING!!!!

Those with weak stomachs do not continue

WARNING!!!!!

You're intrigued arent you?

Elena had the blow out of all blow outs. I didnt even realize it till after I had changed her diaper, how far the mess extended.
We went through several diapers till I found it all.
Sorry for the poop pictures but they had to be journaled. I need to remember the things that are good about not having any more kids so that I feel better about it.
Last but not least, my adorable children.

Pay it Forward

So my friend, Andrea, is doing this pay it forward thing. This is how it works..... The first 3 people to leave a comment on this will receive a hand made gift from me during this year (because Im slow?). When and what will be a surprise. There's a small catch...You knew there would be didn't you? Post this on your blog then come back and leave a comment, telling me you're in. Fun, huh? Remember, only the first 3 comments receive the gift.

Busy Busy Busy

I have just recently become more busy than I ever thought possible. This is not a bad thing, its just something that I am going to have become accustomed to. I was called as the new Visiting Teaching Coordinator for our ward. I bow to Carla, who I'm sure is relinquishing this calling with great joy. I never knew how much it involved and I am now non-stop housewife and mother. Patrick is now going to pre-pre-school on Tuesdays and Thursdays and that just adds to things I have to do, but it is nice to have him out of the house for those 3 hours each time and I am able to get more done while he is gone.
I am really hoping that after March, which is our VT Conference, things will slow down a bit. I am however greatful for this calling because I am able to get to know the women in our ward when before I didnt make much of an effort. I have also been sewing quite a bit. My friends seem to keep having babies, STOP IT!! But I have enjoyed making their gifts instead of buying them, so that adds more to do.
So add all that to my duties at home and with taking care of my children and husband, I have a lot to do. So, there you have it. My life.

Our 5 Month Old

Elena is now 5 months old. I cant believe it. Time is going way to fast and I need to enjoy this time as much as I can. Elena is the sweetest little girl. She loves to eat and now that she is eating baby food, she is sleeping better. She is only waking up once usually. We havent had a full nights sleep yet but hopefully soon. She laughs when we do silly things but she laughs more at her brother because she loves him so much. She loves to watch everything he does. She is now starting to roll. Luckily she is taking it slow but soon she will be everywhere. She is already trying to scoot on her tummy. She loves to be held and she is a mommy's girl and cries when I walk away. She always holds my finger when she eats and doesnt take a bottle. I guess she missed me so much in the hospital, that when she got the real thing she decided she would never go back. I dont mind. We love her so much and we were so blessed when she was born into our home. I cant wait to see what she will do next but hope that it wont happen too soon.
