More fun times

Well, not many things have happened since my last posts but I have some great pictures and videos. The pictures are from Wednesdays Hockey game. Thanks to the Nichols we got in free and we all had a great time. The videos are of Caleb and Patrick dancing to Stephanie's ring tone. They did it for a really long time. The one of Patrick is the funky smile that he does whenever he sees a camera.

Stuart Anderson

Im not sure if you have all heard the news about Stuart Anderson but they recently found out that he has cancer. They have found multiple tumors in his liver as well as his lungs. We have received a couple of emails from Debby Jackson who is helping Ann and Stuart during this difficult time. We ask everyone to pray and fast for them during this difficult time. He will be starting Chemo this week to hopefully shrink the tumors. They have been told that without medical help he only has 1 to 2 months. Our thoughts and prayers are with Stuart and his family and we want to let them know how much we love and support them.

A week of fun

Ok, so I usually just blog for each event or occasion but we really havent had anything that would take up blog space, just a couple of little things that I have some good pictures of. The first is Jesus's Birthday that was on the tenth. We werent able to celebrate very well in Palm springs so we decided we would get everyone together when we got home and I would make him a cake and we would sing to him and everything. So I made him a cake, strawberry, which he loved. I had to decorate it too since that is so much fun. So here is a picture of my fabulous cake I made and decorated.
And then, (this is mostly for Sar) we bought Patrick some Pumas that are so adorable. I normally would never spend more that 10 dollars on a pair of childrens shoes but in this case I feel I had no choice.
Then, this last thursday Jesus had meetings in Pasadena until 9pm, so I decided that I would stay the night at Moms with Stephanie and Caleb for a fun sleepover. We watched transformers and took the boys on a walk and went shopping. It was great. Caleb and Patrick really get along and are good friends so it nice for them to spend some time together. So these are some videos of Patrick and Caleb. There is also one of Grandma Connie teaching Patrick how to kick the autumn leaves, but its a little shaky.

Back from the Desert

Yes!!! We are back......oh, you didnt know we were gone? Well we were, and now we're back. Tuesday we left for Palm Desert (which is like a whole five minutes from Palm Springs). Jesus had a conference for work and since he was going to be gone for his birthday I decided we should go as a family. Its a little more difficult with Patrick now that he is older but we still had a good time. We did a little shopping at the Outlets and we went to the dinner they had thursday night where you can enter to win a trip to Egypt. No we didnt win but we still had a great time. They had this whole Egyptian theme with crazy food and awesome decorations. They even had baboons. They were on leashes so they didnt scratch anyones eyes out but Patrick loved them. They were pretty fun to watch. They had these cool dancers come out and Patrick actually sat still long enough to watch them. The first night there we went to this big hotel that was part of the timeshare that we were staying in. We were told that the dinner there was awesome, so we walked in and as we came down the stairs in the lobby we saw a lot of water and a little boat waiting for us to take us to the restaurant of our choice. Yes this was inside the Hotel!

It was really beautiful and Patrick loved watching the ducks as we went by. He seemed a little nervous They even had Flamingos!!! I didnt get pictures of those though. The other people in the boat were looking at me like I was crazy tourist. When we got outside after dinner, we saw all of these great old cars parked outside for some old car club. Jesus loved walking around and looking at them. We had a great time and have fabulous souvenirs to prove it. Patrick will even show you his new Pumas that he got!!!

Jesus had his 25 birthday on Wednesday the 10th so after shopping, we went to get pizza.
Patrick loved the video games. As you can see below, he cared more about them
than our family picture.

Our room had a jacuzzi so Patrick and I decided to take a dip before bed. I apologize for
this one, Jesus took it.

Okay, yeah, we went twice

But we had to!!! We just didnt get to enjoy all the wonderful things that the Fair offers, plus Patrick had to enjoy the Fair experience with his cousin Caleb. They really had a great time. Patrick got hang out with Grandma Connie and this uncle Cory and aunt Stephanie. We had a great time eating tacos and corn and enjoying several cinnamon rolls. A great time was had by all, from Caleb hugging the trash cans to watching the kids going down the giant fun slide and watching the terrified looks on their faces. Enjoy some of our fun pics.
