Our own little party and trick or treating

So finally on Halloween night we got together with our friends and had nice little party and I loved all the decorations we came up with. It was so fun. 

I made mini pumpkin muffins and chocolate cupcakes

I made silver vampire teeth to hold all the food name labels

 I have always wanted to try these witch finger cookies and they were really creepy looking

 We each were in charge of a game, we had bobbing for apples, bobbing for donuts and pin the nose on the Jack-O-Lantern

 Afterwards we all went trick or treating together and we had such a fun time. That is until Patrick touched a light post that was covered in fiber glass.

I love our ward!!! I seriously do. The people are awesome and there is always something fun going on. A family in the ward started a tradition to go carve pumpkins at the park before Halloween. It was so much fun and I loved all the Jack o Lanterns.

 This awesome pumpkin is the one that Jesús carved. Cool right??!!!

 I loved this one from the Hunger Games. 

 Patrick was too busy playing so I carved his the night after. He said he wanted Zombies so I just drew it out with him instead. He had a great time.

Halloween in Farmers Branch

Roxanna and Diego told us of this cool Halloween carnival put on by the Farmers Branch Rec Center. It was really fun and we got to ride on a hay ride to get there.

Roxanna brought the wagon which is Elena's favorite way to travel. We should probably get one. 

 It was a little cold so we had to bundle up over our costumes

They had live statues that were really cool. Elena was terrified of them and tried to get away from them as fast as she could.

 They had a cool petting zoo with ducks and chicks and bunnies that the kids loved

 We had popcorn corn dogs and hamburgers. The kids spent a lot of time jumping off this little stage while the music played. They had the coolest haunted walk through the woods. I didn't have the guts to go through it. Maybe next time. 

 I told this statue after this picture that my daughter was terrified of him and he said "oh good" weird guy.

1st week of Halloween

Patrick and Elena got to wear their costumes to school, Don't they look so cute?

 I got fake teeth for the Halloween party and the kids loved wearing them 

 We had a lot of fun at our ward Halloween party, The kids loved the bobbing for donuts 

 My awesome Young Women were in charge of face painting. I seriously love these girls.

We had so much fun, I love Halloween.
