See you later Friend

I don't use the term BFF much, or at all because it makes me sound like an immature teenager however I use it now. My BFF is gone. I'm sad. They left Sunday morning for the airport to move to Florida. I went over Sunday morning for a final goodbye and to give them their house keys back. I'm glad I went and I was so good and didn't even cry, unlike their good bye party where I sobbed like a infant. Not very pretty. We promised to text everyday and so far so good. But I miss my friend and I can't wait to meet up with them when they get to Texas in a year.

BC Football

When we were younger Mom and Dad would take us to the BC football games. It was fun to sit and chat and watch the game. Well they asked if we wanted to go last Saturday and we were very excited, especially Patrick. Jesús has never been so I was excited for him to see it. Elenas party

For Elena's birthday we decided we would make it super easy since we're moving. So we decided that we would go to Rosemary's for some ice cream. We had our family there and the Colas. Elena wanted to celebrate princess style so I made some princess cupcakes. I think they turned out kinda cute but I definitely want to work on learning to decorate cupcakes because it was fun.

Of course we all enjoyed the ice cream. Like mother like daughter!

One thing I didn't consider was whether or not Rosemary's would let us bring in the cupcakes and of course they didn't. But they did let me put them in the freezer until we left. After we finished unwrapping presents we went outside to let Elena blow out the candles and sing to her.
