Goings on

Things have a gotten a little crazy as we are preparing for school to start.
We got to go Raquels baby shower which I have been sewing a bunch of things for. I made a hooter hider for the first time which was really easy and I really like the way it turned out. I made her a blanket and a carseat cover. I bunch of flowers for headbands too. It felt good to be sewing again.

Elena's friend Chase had a birthday party at Getty Town which the kids loved. I love this picture of Elena on a Harley. Grandpa Jerry is probably shaking his head though.

After some stormy weather we needed to pick Jesús up for work and we decided to go out to dinner. We stopped at BJ's and I got a Bison burger. It was really good! I highly recommend it.

I love tiring the kids out so much that they pass out in the car.

Patrick had his first soccer practice and Elena wore her soccer gear so she could get some practice in too. She found a friend to play with her.

Jesús and I decided to try the new Sushi place by our house and it was really yummy and we sat at the bar and the chef was talking to us and cracking jokes and he made us something special for free! It was awesome.

We are really trying to get things more organized and Jesús had a great idea to install some wire shelving in the pantry to be able to clear some of our cupboards of all the big baking sheets and pizza pans. It love it. I can also put snacks out so the kids have better access and I don't have to get them snacks all the time.

I wanted to get something worth while done on Saturday and I decided to wash the windows in the kitchen. I haven't washed any windows since we moved in and I figured out why things looked so dusty. There was some kind of stuff of the windows which I had to scrape off. It took a long time but I felt really good to finish and get them done.

Beca's birthday was this week so we all got together for cake. I loved watching Benjamin eat his cake. He's so cute!!!!

I loved this picture. I caption it "Oh cake....."

One of my Laurels left on a mission and we attended her open house. My other ladies were there and we were getting some awesome pictures in. I love them!!! Can you find the photo bomb in the last picture?;)
