Hear ye hear ye, snow experts

Okay, so Friday we are leaving for Utah to spend Christmas with the Morenos. We are really excited to be there for Christmas and for them to see Elena in person for the first time. The only thing Im not excited about is the drive. For those of you that do not know, I am terrified of driving in any weather than nice, sunny, dry weather. I am so scared of driving in the snow that I may just cry the whole way. We are going to watch the weather which is supposed to be partly sunny by the end of the weekend and Jesús has agreed that we will not drive when it is actually snowing. But I am still so very scared that something is going to happen. If it isnt snowing, is it safe? Are the things that I should know that will make me feel better? I feel bad that because of this fear, I have kept Jesús from spending the holidays with his family (money also was a big part of that, we are poor) but even the thought of having to drive through all of those mountain passes where we could get into an accident scares the daylights out of me. So help me, make me feel better about this so I wont be a wreck for this long drive!!! If it helps you to know just how scared I am, I'm also terrified of driving in the rain. I cried almost the whole way to Disneyland when it was raining.

The most important thing to remember when driving in the snow is to go slow. And do not slam on your brakes, pump them. You will be driving on the highway most of the time and won't really need to worry about the snow. They keep the roads really clear. Driving in the snow is actually very easy, just go slow and keep a good distance between you and the other cars. Have fun and I'll see you after Christmas :)

Don't worry if your hubby knows how to drive in the snow you will be fine. He knows he has precious cargo on board. The roads really are kept clear.
