The Two Step...

Alright so Patrick took his first steps. Ok, yeah they were kinda forced by us but I finally got him to let go of the couch and do it on his own. And yes he falls in the end of the video because my hands were occupied with holding the camera. I am not a bad mother, I promise.

Partying with Lucy

Well, Patrick and Lucy have become very good friends with their moms walking together every morning. So we decided to get together with the Nichols, the Buntings and their friends and hang out for an evening. Patrick loved it because he got to hang out with his friend Lucy. Tyler was trying the whole time to get them to kiss and hug and they werent having it. We got a couple of pictures of Patrick trying to plant a big one on Lucy. We decided to give them a little bath together too. Lucy had never had a bath with anyone esle before and Patrick bathes with his cousin sometimes. So we thought it would be fun and we hoped they wouldnt notice certain "differences". Well they had a heck of a time and Patrick spent all of his time crawling all over Lucy and knocking her down. He did try to plant a smooch on her during their little rub a dub dub and we had to sit him down and talk to him when we got home about how to treat the ladies, no matter what Tyler Nichols tells him to do. (Shame on you Tyler) I also just have some cute photos of Patrick doing what he does best, being adorable. We all love a little Toga.

Growing up and almost 1

Wow, I cant believe that Patrick is almost one! 25 days and the count down begins. I cant believe he has been here for almost year. It has gone by so fast. I was so scared to have a baby and I thought that after the first few months I would have just thrown my hands in the air and said "I just dont know how to do this" but I made it. Now its easy, except for those times that he has blow outs and when he wants to be held all day and I cant get anything done. But I know now to cherish those moments because he is going to be leaving on a mission before I know it and I will hope that I remember all the precious times I had spent with him when he was small. He is now pulling himself up on everything and trying to walk along the furniture while holding on. He sometimes will let go and try to stand on his own, but he is a chicken and will squat down pretty fast so he wont fall down. He also has 8 teeth now and if you try to feel any new ones coming in, he will bite you. Hard. He can now say dog, duck, Momma, Dadda, Papa, Poo Poo (a very important one), occasionally he will make a doggy sound which doesnt sound like a dog at all and he loves to dance. Any song could come on and he will dance to it. Its awesome.
